At Nevada Outdoor School, we envision a world where all people have opportunities to learn and grow outdoors. Youth will become engaged and active citizens. We will motivate the next generation of leaders, scientists and great thinkers who will embrace their responsibility to use, respect and conserve the Earth’s natural resources, finding appreciation for and inspiration in nature.

With guidance and support, people learn to analylze their actions, evaluate the impacts those actions have on the natural world and choose wisely to behave in ways that positvely impact the natural world and reduce negative impacts whenever possible.

Why We Do What We Do…
The more experiences people have outside exploring the natural world, the more they will learn and want to learn about nature and the environment. The more people learn about the natural world, the more they will love (appreciate and care for) the outdoors. The more people love nature and being outdoors, the more experiences they will want to have… and the cycle continues!
